It's been about two months since I've gotten into College. Despite my predispositions, it's gone pretty well (financial hell-hole aside). I even have a few new friends and we all get together to eat and play games and watch movies. Especially playing Brawl. I FINALLY have people to play Brawl with (as well as my OTHER multiplayer games). It's awesome.

On the bad side, I currently lack any and all of my arting stuff: Photoshop, computer with better color, tablet, scanner... so I'm pretty much stuck doing nothing. Unless you wanna see the crappiest MSPaint drawings ever.

And even if I did, arting would be really slow anyways (and considering how slow I normally am, that's saying something) because if I'm not gaming with friends, I'm either in class, or working on homework for class. My art class is gradually becoming the most expensive part of this year. I have to keep buying more illustration board for my projects (which, right now, are just basics. Entertaining, but basics nonetheless), as well as other art supplies if/when they run out.

At least I have some nice Profs. My Math Professor likes to crack jokes; he's like a friggen comedian. X3 English class is no longer traumatizing, Art History is boooooooring (and rather difficult to bullshit essays describing two similar artworks), and my real Art class... It's okay. We work. We talk. Prof's nice.

And it's nearing the time where I'll have to sign up for classes for the upcoming semester. Huzzah.

... I just realized how MUCH has happened in these two months. I'll try and summarize so I don't ramble on about stuff.

1: 5 computers had been stolen from the room where I do my english lab. They were found at Craigs List and recovered, and the persons responsible caught. Two weeks later, ALL the computers from both english lab rooms were stolen, 24 in total.

2: Had quite a hike to a Gamestop. Found and bought Sonic Advance 1 and 2 (they had 3 but I lacked enough money to get it), as well as Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door (HELL YES). They had some other awesome games available, but were too expensive for me to get, or not high enough on my priority list.

3: Roommate gets me sick pretty much every week. Last week was really bad--a combination of strep and some other bacterial illness. Had to go to the docs and get medicine for the first time in over a decade. Roommate left last Saturday and has yet to return. I am very much enjoying having the room to myself (we don't get along that well, you see).

4: Friends have been introducing me to movies and games I otherwise wouldn't have seen/played, such as Resident Evil 5, Naked Gun, and other stuff. Also, I have a TV in my room.

5: On the 10th of this month, I get to eat dinner with the co-author of the book "Three Cups of Tea."

6: My cousin got married this weekend.

EDIT: My roommate is finally back. She came back a few hours ago. Turns out she had, simultaneously, Strep, Tonsillitis, a cold, and Mono. Holy. Shit. And she's just as annoying as ever too, especially with her friend gossiping it up in my ear.

I already miss the silence and having the whole room to myself. And being able to fall asleep at a REASONABLE HOUR.
